A Thai dialogue is a short, scripted conversation for one real situation, such as ordering coffee or asking for directions. Every dialogue here shows the Thai script, a simple romanization and the English meaning of each line, with audio, so you learn whole phrases and words in context instead of isolated vocabulary.
The dialogues are grouped by situation: everyday life, travel and transport, food and dining, medical and emergency, social and relationships, and work and professional.
How do you practice a Thai dialogue?
Pick a situation you will actually meet soon, for example At the Coffee Shop, Taking a Taxi or At the Pharmacy.
Play each line, read the romanization and say the Thai phrase out loud.
Check the English meaning, then cover it and see whether you can explain each Thai line yourself.
Practice both sides. Many dialogues label who is speaking, for example Customer and Pharmacist or Tourist and Local, so you can take turns playing each role.
Repeat the dialogue until you can say your own lines without looking, then move on to the next situation.
