  • Many Thais wake early for temple visits or morning markets

  • Provincial areas: songthaews (red trucks), motorbike taxis
  • Always agree on price before getting in a tuk-tuk

Shopping

  • 7-Eleven is everywhere (13,000+ locations!)
  • Markets open early morning or late evening
  • Bargaining is expected at markets, not in malls

The Royal Anthem

  • Everyone is expected to stand still until it ends
  • Also played before movies in cinemas
